In our country, special attention is paid to promoting a healthy lifestyle and involving employees of state and public organizations in mass sports activities.On September 29 of this year, on the occasion of the “October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day” holiday, a chess tournament was held at the University among students and faculty members.The participating professors demonstrated that chess, while seemingly simple at first glance, is in fact highly diverse and intellectually demanding. The matches attracted great interest. Overcoming excitement, each participant strove to achieve victory.According to the results of the intense and competitive games, in the “Chess” category among male students, Timur Ziyodullayev secured 3rd place, Abdulaziz Toxirov earned 2nd place, while the honorable 1st place was awarded to Azizbek Rajabov, a student of the Faculty of Digital Economy. The winners were presented with diplomas and memorable gifts by the University administration. A total of 30 students and 6 faculty members took part in the event.
Such events, in turn, serve to promote a healthy lifestyle and to build a society of physically strong and spiritually mature individuals. Furthermore, they play an important role in widely engaging employees within the system in mass sports, strengthening mutual solidarity, unity, and a friendly environment, thereby contributing to increased efficiency in professional activities.
